Quartz Cabin
Nestled in between the pristine ocean and beach to the front, and the South Bruny National Park to the rear lays our ‘Quartz Cabin’. Everything has been meticulously and thoughtfully designed, and decorated with features such as our dazzling Quartz Crystal lights, the use of Tasmanian Timber throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, and, of course, our ever-enticing spa bath. You will find a large veranda to enjoy during the warmer months, and a cosy fireplace to compliment the heating of the cabin during the cooler months.
The Kitchen
When we created Bruny Island Secrets we wanted to ensure you had the option to either enjoy the local eateries, or to self-cater in the cabin with all the delicious Tastes of Tassie that you have collected on your journey here.
We recommend bringing some food supplies from mainland Tassie, but you can find lots of delicious delicacies locally including sourdough bread, oysters, chocolate, cheese and honey.
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Full size fridge
- Top of the range convection microwave
- Hotplates and rangehood
- BBQ on the veranda
- Nespresso coffee machine with a variety of pods
- A large selection of exotic teas
- Dishwasher draw – because nobody wants to be washing dishes on holiday.

- Mini Bar stocked with a tempting range of local beers, wines and spirits
The Bed
We know you work hard and deserve this luxurious oceanfront holiday to relax and disconnect. Having a large comfortable bed for you was high on our priority list. We’ve slept around and have sourced the most comfortable bed that we’ve found on our travels.
We trust you will enjoy your nights at Bruny Island Secrets Retreat in this comfortable King size bed with luxurious linen. Did we mention the large windows that overlook the ocean views?
The Bathroom
Soak away the stresses of your everyday life in our large double spa overlooking the ocean. Please feel welcome to open the large bi-fold windows to completely absorb the ocean sounds and relaxing atmosphere, or keep them closed to help retain the cosy warmth of the cabin.
If you prefer a shower, our large walk in shower has double waterfall showerheads, perfect for your romantic couples getaway.
Dry yourself off with the fluffy warmed towels from the heated towel rail and step into the the cosy bathrobes ready for a night by the fireplace.
